Installing passive fire protection is not as straight forward as turning up on site and getting to work. In order to give a great service to our clients here’s our installation and documentation process:

  • Site Survey – Before we start work on a project, we carry out a site survey. This allows us to tailor the fire protection systems to our client’s needs. Then we know we will turn up on day 1 of installation with all the equipment and materials we need to complete the works correctly and safely.

  • RAMS – We provide our risk assessments and method statements before we start work. This will help us to minimise any risks on site to ensure everyone gets home safely at the end of the day.

  • Installation and records – Once our RAMS have been received and accepted then we can begin installation. We take thorough records of all our work. This includes photos of all installations. We label up and mark on drawings exactly where each item of work has been carried out. Once all works have been completed and all parties are happy with the installation, we will remove all remaining materials and equipment from site.

  • O&M Manual – Our final stage will be to collate all installation records, photos, product information, maintenance guidelines, etc into one easy to follow Operation and Maintenance document.

  • Certification - For all relevant fire protection we also provide a certificate of conformity backed by IFC Certification Ltd, a UKAS accredited provider of third-party accreditation; therefore, you can be confident we provide a professional and comprehensive service.

We realise some of our clients require documents to be completed in their own templates. For this reason, we are happy to work with you to ensure you receive the information you need in the format you need it. Please contact us with any queries regarding any aspect of our installation and documentation process.
